Jazz Apple Sketches

EDM challenge 91: Draw an Apple

This is a "Jazz" apple. After sketching it, I realized the sketch did not do justice to its perky name. So, I did a second version.

Version 1:


Fabriano hot press 90# watercolor paper (traditonal white)

Version 2:

Arches 140# cold press watercolor paper (bright white)

Both are great, but I really like the first one. You got the spherical shape down pat, and I love the shadow.
