Yellow Onion
Here is my sketch for Everyday Matters #179: Draw an Onion.
3"x4" watercolor on Arches 140# cold press paperThis also marks the final day of the 3rd Annual Thing-a-Day challenge. While I did not post something new every day for the month of February, I did manage to create something new every day. In that sense, Thing-a-Day was a great success! Plus, it was fun to see everyone's postings on the Thing-a-Day.com blog.

Very nice! Love the colours, I remember in my watercolour class we talked about complimentary colours and we found it hard to imagine where you'd use purple and yellow together but here it is, used to great effect.
I will really miss Thing a Day, I enjoyed trying to think of something to do for every day. I only missed one day out of the month, because my life drawing absolutely refused to be photographed!

Angeltreats, congrats on posting nearly every day for Thing-a-Day! But even though it's over, it sounds like you've gotten in the good habit of creating every day, which was one of the main aims of the challenge. Good job!
