Clementines and Plum Blossoms

This sketch is based on a photograph from my recent still life shoot. I did two versions, but my family was unanimous in their preference for this one. I really like this subject and look forward to painting it again!

pretty pretty! I really like that orange color you were able to paint on the clementines... You gave them a wonderful gloss too!

Christine, this is one of, if not the/my, top favorite of your drawing/paintings I've seen. Anybody reading this, please be sure to click to enlarge and see the gorgeous line work on those plum blossoms. The delicacy is just poetic. And I love the saturated color on those oranges. Brava! And congrats on a well-deserved award!
