Aloha!

I'm heading off today on a vacation to Hawaii with my family. I probably will not be able to post any art while I'm away, so I leave you with the above digital painting. It is based on a photograph I took a few years ago, from Napili, Maui, looking northwest toward the island of Molokai.

Gorgeous photo ... makes me almost feel I could brave the long flight to Hawaii.

Aaaahhhh, bliss. I spent 2 weeks on Maui when I was in my 20's. Loved it. Hope you have a great vacation!

Laura, from Oregon it's just (just!) a 5-1/2 hour flight. Pretty manageable now that it's nonstop.

Liz, that sounds like a wonderful trip! Maui is such a gorgeous island.

This vacation took us to Oahu, the main island. It turned out to be a great choice because there was such a variety of fun things for everyone to do.
