Yesterday, we went to the Oregon Humane Society's Pug Crawl. There were hundreds of adorable pugs in costume for this fun annual fundraiser. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon and I took tons of pictures as references for future paintings.
The little Jester Pug, above, caught my eye because he seemed so confident and poised as he marched down the runway.

thank you for telling us about the pug crawl. i would love to hear more about the event. my sister and i would love to add oregon to our pug event circuit. do you think this is a good one to be a vendor at?

Sheila, it's sweet of you to say that! And timely, too, as I have sent this image to a digital printer to see how it looks on both canvas and on watercolor paper. I may have it for sale in the not-too-distant future.

Melissa, I have never seen a larger crowd of people more devoted to their pugs! However, it was a really hot day, so I did not spend much time looking at the vendors; I must confess I was mainly looking for shade and a good photo vantage point!
But I would think the Oregon Humane Society would have more facts and figures for vendors. Here is a link to their site. It would be great to have you add Oregon to your pug event circuit!
