A couple of weeks ago, my husband and younger son and I took a day hike in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We saw lovely waterfalls, wildflowers, and birds, including this very blue Steller's Jay.

Angeltreats, I had to smile when I read your comment. These jays are fairly common around here, and I think we sometimes take them for granted. It's good to be reminded to appreciate what we have.
